My Dad sends blessings to my email on a regular basis. I love them and thought maybe my 2-3 readers might, also 🙂
I bless you with a Father who wants you to abandon your fears to Him – to trust Him completely.
“This is my command — be strong and courageous!
Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is
with you wherever you go.”
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
“I am leaving you with a gift — peace of mind and heart.
And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give.
So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
It’s one thing to give intellectual assent to the idea of Jesus’ care.
It’s quite another to rest in his promise, fully dependent on his promises.
The Bible is full of God’s promises — yet all of them point to the one
promise of Jesus Christ. Through him, God kept his promise to care for us.
“The yes to all of God’s promises is in Christ, and through Christ we say yest
to the glory of God.”
